This research is meant to investigate the production, Domestic sales and export trends of the automobile sector of India. The data of two financial years 2012–13 and 2013–14 have been used and employed to estimate the percentage changes in this sector. The study comprises entire segment of two wheelers (mopeds, scooters, motorcycle, electric two-wheelers), passenger vehicles(passenger car, utility vehicles, multi purpose vehicle), Commercial vehicles(light and medium heavy vehicles), and three wheelers(passenger carriers and goods carriers).
