This paper shows the interaction of human hand as well as figure articulation with computer and use for robotic application. Human hand and finger articulations are captured from video. The outputs of camera in form of snapshots are converted in to one dimensional electrical signal. The motion of robotic arm can be controlled by moving our hand in any direction, the high of freedom of articulated hand and finger are challenges to many tracking system techniques. This paper presents new approach to track hand as well as finger articulations by using MATLAB by the use of color coding technique. It contains tracking of color calculating the axis between those colors, formation of angles from difference of that color etc. Image processing technique is implemented to show tracking of hand at different axis. The main aim behind this approach to control robotic arm by programming in Matlab using hand and camera specifications.
