India is one of the leading manufacturing and exporting country of Textile Industry. It is the second largest employment generator after Agriculture. In this competitive era, the Textile industry environment is very different than ever before. Tirupur has the largest and fastest growing district in Tamil Nadu.. QWL is a measure of how safe and satisfied employees feel with their jobs. The Indian textile mill industries went through a process of phenomenal growth for the past four decades. Tirupur is a Textilecity[4] located on the banks of Noyyal River of Tamilnadu State. It is also called Dollar city. Tirupur is a textile hub and a vast generator of employment for unskilled temporary workers. As mentioned above one of the major problem faced by the Tirupur Textile Industry is that, the high rate of labor turnover because of dyeing units were closed by the State Government which units are not able to produce zero hazard wastage and power supply problems etc., in Tirupur. The reasons for this problem are many particularly, the problems related to workers health, Quality of life and the Quality of work which are needed to address well for the development of Tirupur Textile industry.
