Abstract

This journals covers heat load estimation required for designing heating ventilation and air-conditioning system for clean room air condition. The load estimation is calculated as per Indian society for heating refrigeration and air conditioning engineers (ISHRAE)& American society for heating refrigeration and air condition engineers standards(ASHRAE).Heat load is a part of entire design and drafting process of HVAC systems.

Thermal load calculations of aviation training Centre, Hyderabad for summer condition is achieved by considering different factors such as orientation of the building, adjacent structures. Thermal load estimation covers calculation of heat from different sources such as walls, glasses, people, equipments, etc., internally and externally. Also, calculation of the quantity of air required for maintaining the comfort condition in the space reference which has been considered. By this estimation, type of HVAC system to be selected can be decided incorporating effective costing.
