Abstract

In our daily life, a certain amount of force is applied to get the required work for example a lot of manual force is applied on exercise instruments while lifting the weights, running etc. If this force is converted into mechanical work and then it is converted into electrical energy. Form this idea, this project is developed to design the Energy Converter to generate the electrical energy when the force is applied on the lever. This paper deals with the design, erection and performance of the Energy Converter. The rack and pinion mechanism is used to convert the force into rotary motion.

The experiment is conducted on the Energy Converter at different forces applied on the lever. The observation readings of Voltmeter, Ammeter and speed are tabulated. From these readings, the performance of the Energy Converter is analyzed.
