Text fusion is the process of hiding the text behind the pixels of the image. In this paper we proposes an improved version of wien Hong's side match data hiding method in encrypted images. We develop a novel method to embed important data in the host image in such a way that interceptor may not even know about existence of data. The basic concept of the proposed method is by substituting the data at edges of the image. To detect region of interest of image we design Gabor filter. Finally based on side match technique of data hiding an improved method of data hiding has been developed to obtain a high quality embedding result. This technique provides confidentiality, integrity and authentication to medical images. Experimental results will reveal that the quality of embedding result will not seriously degradeand the solution is the optimal solution. The technique proposed is completely reversible in nature i.e. we can recover complete information without distortion. Proposed algorithm aims at increasing the data hiding capacity without distortion.
