Abstract

In this paper a simple method of finding an Optimal Solution for Transportation problem by using Maximization. This method finds an Optimal Solution without requiring an initial basic feasible solution. The numerical examples of the method is explained and compared with the results of the other method. The feature of this method is that it does not require arithmetic and logical calculations and also it is easy to understand. This method is very efficient for those who are dealing with problems of supply chain and inventory. It can easily adopt on existing methods.
