Abstract

Self Compacting Concrete in the fresh state is known for its excellent deformability, high resistance to segregation and use without applying vibration, in congested reinforcement concrete structures characterized by difficult casting conditions. Such a concrete can be obtained incorporating a new admixture known as Supaflo SPL (Special).

Our experimental study presents the comparative performance of SCC prepared with various percentages of concrete based on fresh and mechanical properties.

In Self Compacting Concrete, various testing methods have been carried out on all mix proportions to obtain mechanical properties such as compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, split tensile strength tests from the view point of making it a standard concrete.
