Abstract

In this project, a Smart Grid has been designed using MATLAB/SIMULINK approach for integrating of thermal and wind power plant. In the frequency analysis, Constant frequency system is the combined effect of DFIG in wind power plant. Load Analysis has to be done to know the maximum capacity of whole power system network by maximum positive and negative frequency deviation of the frequency. The maximum and minimum frequency deviation calculated for this smart power system network explains about the permissible range of active and inductive load applied at different load bus, from which stable working condition of the system has to be deduced in order to satisfy the frequency deviation. The simulated results prove the effectiveness of smart grid technology for the present day power system technology.
