Image processing is a field where the representation of the image and manipulation of the image takes over. Edge detection is an important task for the resulting clear cut image output and it is the midpoint between the image and its background. If the edge detection is done a perfect way then the properties of the image like intensity, area and various parameters can be analyzed perfectly.
