Abstract

Healthcare has evolved over the years, and many therapies have been developed across the world. There are different ways through which therapy diagnoses a patient, and delivers treatment. One of the ancient systems is Ayurveda, which focuses on constitution of the body, and divides people in to 3 main categories called Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Similarly, another ancient therapy-Acupuncture focuses more on energy flow. The main focus of Acupuncture is to clear blockages in energy channels, so that the body would restore normalcy through natural rebuilding process.

Every stream of therapy tries to address all types of diseases. But the success rate of a therapy varies based on the type of disease being treated.

Machine learning plays a significant role in identifying a suitable therapy based on success rate of that therapy for a particular type of disease. It is responsible for reducing the number of unnecessary attempts a patient undergoes in order to identify a good therapy with high success rate in curing the disease.
