As traditional ‘smart’ components power systems have been key roles in power systems. Smart grid offers higher level of observation in terms of more abundant and precise information, and also brings forward more technical challenges for protection. The idea behind this paper presentation is to understand and develop smarter grids, their standards and their benefits.
We are going to discuss the current scenario in India and ways smart grid can be innovatively implemented.
