Abstract

The optical gain and output power of quantum dot (QD) lasers with different coverage factors and cavity lengths have been investigated as a function of injection current that show differences lasing from the ground state (GS) and exited state (ES) and in order to compare numerical results for turn on delay we have calculated photon density for ground state.
