Mobile Ad hoc network is an infrastructure less communication network built with limited resources and absence of centralized management. It has a critical issue of energy efficiency and security. This paper proposes an improved rebroadcasting method which takes decision on the basis of energy and node density; also packets are secured by encryption to avoid from misuse.
