In a Peer-to-Peer system, each participating machine (referred to as a peer) functions as a client with a layer of server functionality; P2P applications build on this functionality for storage, computation, messaging, security, and file distribution. This paper provides a comparison between search algorithms over Peer-to-Peer networks.
