Gravity return elevators are new in concept than the existing traditional electrical lift. The elevator completely works on mechanical principles wherein energy is stored in compressed helical torsion spring and the lifting is done by retrieval of this stored energy. Escalation of the proposed idea for higher floor is the widest future scope.
