Abstract

Pesticide degradation is the challenges of the day were safe, rapid and economically efficient methods are searched. In the process present paper made an attempt to isolate secondary metabolites from Cipadessa baccifera and degrade endosulfan at two different concentrations. Significant degradation was obtained with secondary metabolites with P value = <0.0001 for both 1000 and 2000 μg/ml concentration of endosulfan with 1 and 2 ml of secondary metabolites. However, highest degradation was obtained with saponins and terpenoids.
