Abstract

A survey of the zooplankton community in Mandir Dighi (a temple pond), Barak valley, Assam has been undertaken to determine the species composition, abundance and diversity during the period of June, 2012-May, 2013. A total of twenty-eight different genera of zooplankton have been recorded. Among all the group rotifera were dominant throughout the year and forming about 60% of the total population of zooplankton.
