Surpluses in agriculture contribute to the country's economic development, and they are also required to meet the needs of its growing population. The Green Revolution can help developing nations overcome their chronic food shortages by boosting agricultural production. Various methods were used to increase the yield of food grains, such as the use of high yielding seeds, modified equipment, and chemical fertilizers.
