Abstract

The generalized linear differential equation with constant coefficients has been considered for finding the non-dimensional form of constitution equation of standared linear solid viscoelastic model depending upon the time dependent parmeter τ and frequency ω. The non-dimensional form has been deriverd by taking the sinsuidal variation of stress (σ=σ0sinft or p=p0sinωθ) and strain γ=γ0sinωθ. The viscoelastic body's behavior has also be disscued at different values of t and results be derived at low frequency and at high frequency and it has been concluded that linear viscoelastic bodies behaves periodically under the influence of periodic stress and strains.
