The study of last 10 years (2009–10 to 2018–19) data of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies(PACS) inirrigated and unirrigated areas of Dhule district, Maharashtra indicated that the loan disbursement and loan recovery of PACSs from unirrigated area had declined by 26.13 and 51.77 per cent respectively. In order to improve the performance of these PACS, it is recommended that the farmers from Dhule district be motivated for the use of the recommended package of practices for cotton cultivation.
