Retrospective information on the incidence status of nictitans gland prolapse in dogs, were obtained after scrutinizing the hospital records at Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital. The prevalence rate of the nictitans gland prolapsed was higher in the dogs ageing less than 2 years.
