Abstract

A Case of fracture of mandible in a dog was brought to clinic and managed successfully.

Mandibular fracture accounted for 3% of all canine fractures and stabilization is often necessary to perrmit bone healing and reestablish correct dental occlusion (Umphet and Jhonson,.1990). Fracture of Jaws is usually by automobile accident or trauma and characterized by swelling,deviation of segment, malocclusion of teeth and blood stained saliva (Bricnare,1974).
