Abstract

A case of prolonged dystocia due to fetal ascitis in a crossbred cow which was successfully managed with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and supportive therapy following manual puncturing of fetal abdominal cavity with guarded knife to relieve dystocia has been documented.
