Effect of administration of aspirin, diclofenac sodium, flurbiprofen, nimesulide, piroxicam, serratiopeptidase and trysin-chymotrysin was evaluated on gastric mucosa for ulceration, if any. The results revealed that nimesulide, serratiopeptidase and trypsin-chymotrypsin have safety profile, while with the remaining drugs the incidence of ulceration was 100 per cent.
