A study was conducted on haematological studies in crossbred anoestrous cows. Blood samples were collected from 30 crossbred anoestrous cows (Gr-II) and compared with normal cyclic cows at oestrous (Gr-I). The blood parameters such as TWBC,TRBC,Hb, HCT, ESR,TPLT, MCV,MCH,MCHC,RDW,MPVand PDW were investigated. The TRBC, Hb, HCT, ESR, MCV, MCH, RDW, MPV, PDW values of cyclic oestrous cows significantly (p< 0.05) differed from non cyclic anestrous cows,.the values of MCHC did not differ significantly between the two groups. The TPLT count was highly significant (p< 0.01) in oestrous cows as compared to anestrous cows. The TWBC count was higher in anestrous (p< 0.05) than the oestrous cows. It was concluded that lower erythrocytic indices in the non-cyclic anestrous condition in crossbred cows affects the normal reproductive function.
