PGF2α is considered as drug of choice for management of fetal mummification. However, at times, some animals do not respond to PGF2α. Such cases can be successfully treated with estrogens. The present study documents successful management of fetal mummification in cows with Diethyl Stilbesterol (DES), which did not respond to PGF2α.
