A survey was conducted to study the incidence of tumors in dogs during November 2007- October 2009. A total of 273 cases of tumour were reviewed The incidence of mammary tumour (53.84 per cent) was more than the other tumors (45.05 per cent). The breed-wise incidence was more common in Spitz (27.47 per cent), followed by non-descriptive dogs (21.24 per cent). Other than mammary tumor, female dogs were found to be more affected (28.57 per cent) than male dogs (16.48 per cent). Age wise incidence was more common in between 7 and 9 years (36.26 per cent), followed by over 9 years and up to 12 years of age (28.57 per cent).
