In the present investigation the effect of levamisole, (a thymomimetic drug) and immulite (a herbal immunomodulatory agent) in abnormal parturient cows to ameliorate the puerperal complications by alleviating stress and inflammation was studied. The haemoglobin concentration in abnormal parturient cows increased on days post partum. The total leukocyte count and neutrophil per cent revealed a receding trend with the advancement of parturition days.
