A Study on serum biochemical profile of 40 postpartum anoestrus (>90 days) and induced oestrus crossbred cows was conducted. The level of serum total protein and albumin was significantly higher (p< 0.05) in anoestrus cows as compared to induced oestrus cows. The level of serum albumin was significantly higher (p<0.05) in anoestrus cows as compared to induced oestrus cows, whereas the level of serum globulin, phosphorus and cholesterol did not vary significantly between anoestrus and induced oestrus cows.
