A survey was conducted to assess the prevalence of helminthes in free range domesticated ducks from Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The feacal samples of 170 ducks were examined for the presence of parasitic infection. Out of 170 ducks examined, 56 (32.94%) were infected with one or more species of parasitic infection. Parasitic fauna detected were Capillaria sp., 8 (14.28%), Raillietina sp. 12 (21.42%),Stongyloid sp., 12 (21.42%), Subulura sp., 12 (21.42%), Heterakis sp., 6 (10.71%), and Ascardia sp., 6 (10.72%).
