Haematological parameters in zoo-based Bonnet monkey (n=12) were studied. The mean total Red Blood Cell count, Haemoglobin level and White Blood Cell count were found to be 4.3 ± 1.36 × 106 per cu.mm, 9.1 ± 2.26 gm/dl and 9.80 ± 2.82 × 103 per cu.mm for both the sexes. The Haemoglobin, Packed Cell Volume values were higher in males than in females though the other hematological indices did not vary between them.
