Abstract

An experiment was conducted to investigate the antipyretic activity of Hibiscus rosa sinensis leaf extract in pyretic wistar rats. The rats from pyretic groups receiving aqueous and alcoholic extract of leaves both @ 100 and 200 mg/kg showed significant (P < 0.05) reduction in elevated temperature when compared with the control group.
