A total of 240 respondents, 10 each from twenty-four villages of North Gujarat were selected at random for the present study which was conducted by Ex-post facto research design. Sixteen independent variables, relevant to the study, were included. Coefficient correlation of adoption with independent variables revealed that out of the 16 independent variables tried 14 variables were positively and significantly correlated (P<0.01) with the extent of adoption of improved animal husbandry practices. The remaining two variables viz., age and dairy farming experience were found to be non-significantly correlated.
