Abstract

E-commerce is becoming increasingly prevalent and presents unique challenges for managers. This paper presents a study of e-business capability and competitive strategies and how the e-commerce organizations can manage them. A conceptual model has been developed to relate organizational capabilities with the success of a firm. An empirical analysis has re-affirmed the mediating role of business competitiveness, as deciphered from the literature review. Studies on causal relationships can contribute to our understanding of e-commerce firms’ success factors through business competitiveness.
