Data are presented from a study of meiosis of autotriploids of Eruca sativa and of digenomic hexaploids of the A and B genomes of Brassica to show that the estimation of earlier works of autosyndesis in the ‘ E ‘ genome has been an under-estimation and that of allosyndesis between ‘ A ‘ and ‘ B ‘ genomes of Brassica an over-estimation.
