A natural dominant mutation for field resistance to the prevalent brown rust races has been found in the susceptible local T. dicoccum.
The investigation has revealed the nature of inheritance to brown rust in T. dicoccum wheat. This information would be of practical utility in planning the transference of field resistance to any other T. dicoccum or T. durum variety.
