In a set of thirty varieties of sorghum of Punjab origin grown at New Delhi, it was observed that fodder yield was positively and significantly correlated with diameter and height, the former correlation being highly significant; the correlation with internode no. was positive but not significant. On the basis of linear relationship, variability in the three characters, diameter, height and internode no., accounted for 55 per cent. of variability in yield. Diameter by itself was responsible for the major part of this relation while the contributions by height and internode no. were negligible.
