Abstract

The mode of inheritance of resistance to races 10 and 107 was studied in the cross Bowie X N.P. 770. A dominant gene in Bowie gave resistance against race 10 while three independent, dominant gene pairs conditioned resistance to race 107. The gene which conferred resistance against race 10 gave resistance to 107 as well.
