A study of quantitative characters has been made in wheat using eight chromosome deficient lines of the wheat variety G.591. Analysis of variation and covariation of several quantitative characters in the monosomies (2n=41) and disomies (2n=42) showed that differences between the chromosome types were non-significant; it has been observed that the correlations between various characters, however, are widely different in the two chromosome types.
