One chimaera for double spike in wheat induced by gamma rays and 34 in barley induced by different physical and chemical mutagens were observed. The inheritance study of the double spike character under different external and internal environmental conditions suggests that the character is not heritable and may have arisen as a radiomorph both in wheat and barley.
