Abstract

The × locus is assigned to the V linkage group. It is 31 Centimorgans from a and 18 cM from hl. The markers a and hl are 21 cM apart. The sequence of these loci is a-hl-x. × is not a lethal factor when in homozygous condition. In the × x, microgametes carrying × are non-functional. The genotype of the parents has been diagnosed. Butler hl, Kerr gf and Woolly are × x. Walter-15, Ace. 160 and aw ol sp are × X.
