Abstract

In M3 generation, three interchange-trisomic plants were isolated from the progeny of gamma-induced interchange heterozygotes in pea variety, T. 163. Morphology, sterility and cytology of these interchange-trisomics were studied. Morphological characters of the different interchange-trisomics showed distinct phenotypic expression. Cytological analysis revealed various frequency of trivalents and pentavalents. Different extra chromosomes in the trisomies appear to be involved in the interchange-trisomics.
