Abstract

The study of seed coat colour inheritance in mung revealed that black, green mosaic, yellow mosaic, brown, and amber colours resulted from interaction of four factors B, M, Br, and G. A. 101-4 carried dominant alleles and Sonamung recessive at all four loci while T. 44 had the dominant allele at G locus and recessive alleles at the other three loci.
