Abstract

Twenty six genotypes of mung bean having diverse origin, were scored for six yield components which were subjected to path analysis to find out the direct and indirect effects of these components on yield. Days to flower, pods per plant, pods per peduncle and seed weight had direct positive effect on yield while pod length showed negative direct effect. Days to flower and seeds per pod had, via pods per plant, indirect positive effect.
