Abstract

Inheritance of pigmentation in auricle, junctura, pulvinus and leaf-axil was studied in a cross Y-4 × K-44-1. One of the genes for auricle colour was also involved in the development of pigment in junctura, leaf-axil and pulvinus; in addition, two more genes were found to be common for colouration in the last three parts. Based on the present data the genes have been assigned tentatively to one of the linkage groups.
