Statistical procedures to analyse diallel cross data over different environments for studying combining ability from experimental methods II, III and IV of Grimng (1956) have been presented. Estimates of various effects and their corresponding sums of squares, the expectations of mean squares and the variances of estimates of effects and of their differences have been treated separately for each method. The procedures for testing significances by F-tests have been given under a unified treatment for the three experimental methods.
