The four mutants namely erectoides ert, grandpa gp, chlorina1 f1, aan dhlorina2 f2 obtained from gamma irradiated material were found to be monogenic recessive to normal. Their genetic linkages have been established. The gene ert for erectoides has been found to be located on chromosome 5, the gene order being trd, b and ert. The genes gp and f, for grandpa and chlorina, were linked with br, brachytic in the short arm of chromosome 1. The recombination values between gp and br and f, and br were 37.7% and 38.8%, respectively. f2 for chlorina2 was found to be linked with uz and zb zebra located in the short arm of chromosome 3. Crossover values between uz and f2 and zb and f2 were 24.6% and 33.8%, respectively. The order of genes is f2, uz and zb, zb being proximate to the centromere.
