Abstract

Linkage studies were made in two translocation lines T 1–3 and T 3–7 in a 6–rowed barley variety K 12. Reduction of recombination values was observed in the regions lying in the interstitial segment. Both the translocation lines were located in the short arm of chromosome 3 between als locus and the centromere. Average pollen and ovule sterility in translocation heterozygotes were 32⋅7 and 27⋅8 per cent, respectively.
