Purple auricle colour of ‘Hannchen’ was governed by two complementary genes contrary to the monogenic control reported earlier. These genes have been designated as Pau 2 and Pau 3. Brachytic character was found to be governed by three recessive genes, as against monogenic recessive control reported earlier.
